Some years ago as part of Critical Practice at an event called Insatiable we repurposed TED's TEN. The TEN is a pack of cards developed by Textile Environment Design (TED) research group that are essentially prompts to enable -specifically designers- to audit the values of their design projects as they unfolded.
We decided to collaboratively hack the TEN and repurpose them for a more general creative practice. I've been tweaking then ever since. Here is the current iteration;
– Create
– Create for others
– Create using minimal energy and resources
– Create to minimise waste
– Create to maximise generosity
– Create to reduce consumption
– Create communities of care
– Create to minimise harm
– Create with love
– Create activism
